For this reason, we also offer custom mattresses without the added fire-retardant material as long as a note is provided from your doctor. Big & Tall Mattresses
Customers taller than six feet understand how difficult it can be to find a perfect fit for their mattress. While king-sized mattresses provide ample width, they lack the length necessary to keep your feet from dangling. Likewise, California king mattresses are longer from head to foot but are too narrow. Even Alaskan king mattresses may require a certain degree of customization in order to fit within the desired space. Mattresses for Boats & Planes
Oftentimes, people need something that is not so standard, whether it is an unusual shape or simply dimensions that fall outside of a size with a name. Some examples of this would be a V-berth mattress for a boat, which is oftentimes shaped like an arrowhead and maybe split in the middle.

Custom Shaped Mattresses
Sometimes what you need is a mattress that falls in the category of what we call odd standards. This would be something like a short queen, a three quarter, or a California king. These sizes have generally industry-wide agreed upon dimensions but many people do not offer them and very few people have them in stock.
Other times people need something that is not so standard, whether it is an unusual shape or simply dimensions that fall outside of a size with a name. Occasionally someone may simply want a mattress that is larger than normal, in which case they may choose to go with something like a Wyoming or Alaska King, which is actually built as a large square.
